1804. Another slant on things

Somebody has raised up the bar
And let me discover how far
He's come at the versing
Of limericks by nursing
Each nuance of fun -- they're har-har!

I posted a comment to Dave's OP204 at 9:58 am.  I'm rather proud that this one was written and blogged only twelve minutes later.  If you don't like my angle, please don't come after me with a 45.

    1. The compliment.

And I don't even own a 45. That would be a bit steep.

    2. Duh! I forgot that my lim itself was praising you. You're very welcome (and I'm very old.) Did you find my acrostic?

    3. Didn't occur to me that it even was one, but now that you mention it, 1st letter of 1st word in L1, 2nd word in L2, until your slant comes to an end in L5. Very cleverly done, and especially such a short time. I must say, I'm quite impressed.

    4. *in such a short time...I came up with mine rather quickly, but I think it took me longer than 12 minutes.
