Dick Clark's gone, it's the end of an age,
He put Rock 'n Roll on TV's stage.
Bob/Justine, King and Queen
Of that past Bandstand scene
Did "The Stroll" which became all the rage.
Danny's Juniors sang out "At the Hop",
And we all tried to learn how to bop.
Watched each day after school
And thought we were cool,
Dick Clark was the absolute Top.
