OP469. Double Trouble

My two titties were built like a tank.
I had dear Mother Nature to thank.
But I'm way past my prime
And can thank Father Time
For the ultimate crime - they both sank.

  1. Gee, I'm sorry to hear how each breast
Now rests nearer your gut than your chest.
But the way that you rhyme
    L5's 'crime' with 'Prime-Time'
Is just clever as hell --- I'm impressed!

Okiejokey and I were discussing last week's AWADmail and he said, "I was reading the penultimate limerick.
When I came to L5, I knew who'd written it without even looking at the byline!"

Getting in that extra rhyme every time is your signature, Suz. I won't (and can't) mime it.

  2. Thanks for the kind compliments. The Line 5 rhyme is actually easier to do than one thinks,; there's a certain technique I came up with and use almost every time. By the way, that little limmie got me first place in a particular limerick contest. I also was privileged to receive an honorable mention as well. And David got an honorable mention. There are so many of his that I feel should have been chosen the winner (in past contests), without adding my bias of liking him as a friend to influence me. They're so darn juicy and clever. He just needs to write more entries, maybe, so that the judge can pick the juiciest one(s). But he's not in it for the prize; he just enjoys spilling his seeds of creativity.
