OP32. Better with age
There once was an old man who'd dine On pussy; he thought it divine When some were outraged They said "Sir, act your age!" He replied, "I do. I'm 69!"
My second limerick on the site (OP31), but my first as an official contributor. Hope you like it; it's one of my newer ones.
ReplyDeleteWelcome aboard, Dave! An EXCELLENT one (but having seen your work at your website, I'm not surprised.) I really like the line 5 age tie-in which creates a superb dénouement!
DeletePost all you want -- I'm glad to have you as a contributor!
one question. if i post a multi-stanza limerick, does it count as one or more than one?
ReplyDeleteEvery 5 lines equals one limerick (at least in my book.) I look forward to seeing one of your multi-stanza ones!
